Emil Benecke: The German Champion

Emil Benecke was born on 1898. He was swimmer and Water Polo player of Hellas Magdeburg. He was captain of the German team that won the gold medal into Amsterdam 1928, Olympic Games. He also won the bronze in Budapest, 1926 European Championships, the silver in Paris 1931 European Champs and the silver in Los Angeles 1932, Olympic Games. He won 7 German Championships (24, 25, 26, 28,29, 30 and 31). He also won the swimming titles from 1917 to 1922. He was killed during the World War II on 1945.
