Endre Molnar: The golden Hungarian goalie

Endre Molnar was born on 1945 and is considered as one of the best goalkeepers of the seventies. Endre Molnar began his carrier on 1960 in “Epitok”, Budapest and on 1966 he moved to “BP Spartacus”. He started his glorious carrier with the Hungarian National team in Utrecht 1966, European Championships. He has been the goalie of Hungary into four Olympic Games: Mexico 1968 (bronze), Munich 1972 (silver), Montreal 1976 (gold) and Moscow 1980 (bronze). He his long carrier included also: 3 World Championships: Belgrade, 1973 (gold), Cali, 1975 (silver), Berlin 1978 (bronze) and 3 European Championships: Utrecht 1966 (5th), Vienna 1974 (gold), Jonkoping 1977 (gold). Endre Molnar retired from the National team following the Moscow, 1980 Olympics.
