1930's: The indoor pool of Foro Italico, Rome

One of the most traditional swimming pools in Europe is the indoor pool of Foro Italico, Rome. Foro Italico, originally called Foro Mussolini, has been designed by the architect Del Debbio and constructed during the Italian fascist period from 1928 ti 1938. Foro Italico, is situated in the base of Monte Mario and has been the venue of Rome 1960 Olympic Games.
