Camillo De Giovanni: The “Master of the Masters”

Camillo De Giovanni born 1917, played Water Polo for “SS Lazio” from 1933 to 1942. During the World War II he has been arrested and sent as prisoner to Germany. He returned in Italy on 1947 and became coach of Lazio, restructuring the team and its Age groups. He coached famous players such as: Arena, Ghira, Ognio, Ceccarini, Baccini, Pucci, Guerrini and the mythical Carlo Pedersoli (Bud Spenser).
With “S.S. Lazio Nuoto” De Giovanni won the 1954 and 1956 Italian Championships.
