Osvaldo Codaro: The golden player of Argentina

Osvaldo Codaro has been the best Argentinean player of the 50’s and 60’s. Born in Buenos Aires, on 1930 he started his glorious carrier on 1942. At first he swam for the “Club Atlético Independiente” and then he played Water Polo player for “C.A Intependiente”, “Club Comunicaciones” and “Boca Juniors”. He won the gold into the 1st Pan-American Games of 1951 in Buenos Aires and then in Mexico, 1955. He was member of the National Water Polo team of Argentina in London 1948, Helsinki 1952 and Roma 1960 Olympic Games. In Rome, Argentina has been 8th and Codaro has been recognized as the best South American player and one of the best in the World, appreciated for his exceptional physical capacity and game understanding.
