1955: Water Polo medal “Canal North”, Egypt

Medal awarded to the winners of a Water Polo competition, probably held by the English Navy at the North part of Suez Canal, Egypt in 1955. The year after exploded the Suez Crisis (military attack on Egypt by Britain, France and Israel, beginning on 29 October, 1956, followed Egypt's decision of July 1956 to Nationalize the Suez Canal).
