1913: The Juniors of “Thistle A.S.C” Aberdeen

The Juniors Water Polo team of “Thistle Amateurs Swimming Club” of Aberdeen, Scotland, winners of the Juniors League of 1913.
Water polo began around 1863 on the river Dee in Aberdeen, Scotland . Scotsman William Wilson is considered being the father of Water Polo. In the year 1876 he has released first rules of the game, and by that rules first Water Polo game ever took place on the river Dee.
The River Dee is a river in Aberdeenshire Scotland. It rises in the Cairngorms and flows through Royal Deeside to reach the North Sea at at Aberdeen.
