1930: "Racing Club Arras", Nord Pas de Calais

The 1930 Water Polo team of "Racing Club Arras", Nord Pas de Calais, France.

The history of the French water polo is closely related to the development of the sporting nautical practices in the Nord/Pas-de-Calais area. It is indeed in 1895, and after several attempts at codings, that this new watery activity crosses the English Channel to occur for the first time in the Lilloise area.
