1932, Los Angeles: The National team of Japan

1928, Amsterdam: Rademacher and Tsuruta

Erich Rademacher (1901-1979), the legendary goalie of "Hellas Magdeburg", winner of gold medal with the German Water Polo team in Amsterdam 1928 and winner of silver medal in Los Angeles 1932 Olympic Games. Rademacher competed in Amsterdam 1928 Olympics as swimmer, winning the silver medal in 200 breastroke. In the picture Rademacher (at the right) shakes hands with the Japanese Yoshiyuki Tsuruta, Olympic Champion in 200 breastroke.

1936, Berlin: The Japanese Furusho in action

Despite the efforts of the Japanese goalie Furuso, Japan lost against Germany with 13-1. Japan lost also against: Czechoslovachia 4-3 and France 8-0.
