1976: Gunter Kilian in action

In action Gunter Kilian (born 1950 in Wurzburg, Germany), goalkeeper of S.V. Wurzburg 05, and the German National team. Gunter Kilian, on of the best German goalies in the 70's, took part in Mexico 1968 and Montreal 1976 Olympic Games. He has been European Champion in Split 1981 and in Club level winner of 5 National titles.

1976, Montreal: Alberto Alberani in action

The Italian Alberto Alberani, (born in Florence in 1947) has been one of the best goalkeepers of the 70's. Alberani who has been player of Pro Recco, competed in four consecutive Olympic Games (4th in Mexico 1968, 6th in Munich 1972, 2nd in Montreal 1976 and 8th in Moscow 1980).

Luis Diez (born in 1923), goalkeeper of “Gymmasia y Esgrima”, Buenos Aires was selected as the best goalie of the Championship of Argentina in 1943. Luis Diez was the goalkeeper of Argentina in London 1948 and Helsinki 1952 Olympic Games.

1983, Rome: Milorad Krivokapić in action

Milorad Krivokapić, goalie of Yugoslavia, in action during the game against Hungary in Rome 1983 European Championship. Krivokapić started his career in "Bijela Brodoremont" and continued in "Primorac Kotor". He won silver medal in Moscow 1980 Olympics, gold in Los Angeles 1984 Olympics and gold as well in Madrid 1986 World Championships. He played 299 games for the National team of Yugoslavia and remains remembered as one of the all-time best goalies in the history of the game.

1969: The legendary goalie Steve Hamann

The legendary goalie of Sant Mateo College, Steve Hamann in action. Hamann is considered as the highest profiled player of the Buldogs, being one of the best goalies of the US team from the period 1972-1984. He won the silver medal with the US team in the 1st FINA Cup in Belgrade 1979.

1928: The legendary Erich Rademacher

Erich Rademacher (1901-1979), the legendary goalie of "Hellas Magdeburg", winner of gold medal with the German Water Polo team in Amsterdam 1928 and winner of silver medal in Los Angeles 1932 Olympic Games.
Rademacher competed in Amsterdam 1928 Olympics as swimmer, winning the silver medal in 200 breastroke.
